Spartakiad was held among subsidiaries and associates of NC KazMunayGas (KMG) JSC from July 10 to July 13, 2023. This year it was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of MangistauMunayGas JSC.

Qualifying stage of Spartakiad was held in Aktobe among subsidiaries and associates of JSC NC KazMunayGas (KMG). The following companies took part in eleven sports disciplines:

1. TenizService LLP,

2. NMSC Kazmortransflot LLP,

3. JV Caspi Bitum LLP,

4. Kazakhoil Aktobe LLP,

5. Kazakhturkmunay LLP,

6. Urikhtau Operating LLP

TS team applied for six sports that included indoor soccer, volleyball, table tennis, swimming, arm wrestling and Arkan tartu (tug-of-war).

According to the results of the qualifying stage, winners and prize-winners in each sport were determined. TS team was victorious in women’s volleyball beating the teams of NC Kazmortransflot JSC and CASPI BITUM LLP. This way TS team took the first place and was awarded to participate in the final stage of Spartakiad. TS team also took the following winning places: the honorable 2nd place in tug-of-war while being represented by employees of Bautino branch; the 3rd place in table tennis by the director of Procurement and Contracts Department, K. Karagubenov; the 3rd place was by the Deputy general director for business development, D.Tusupbekov, in swimming.

The final stage of KMG Spartakiad was held in Aktau. Its grand opening took place in Halyk Arena, the sports complex, in Aktau on July 10 of the year. The management of KMG and MMG participated in the opening ceremony. Head of KMG Human Resources Department, Erbolat Sarsenov, wished the participants good luck, bright victories and started the Spartakiad.

More than 500 athletes, winners of 12 qualifying groups, took part in the competition in total.

Unfortunately, our female participants did not win any awards. Though, they performed well as they ranked in top 8 teams.

KMG Spartakiad has demonstrated not only sportsmanship but provided an excellent opportunity to exchange experience, strengthen friendly and business ties between the colleagues. Our company aims to take part in such events every year in order to follow a healthy lifestyle and strengthen corporate spirit of its employees.
